The puppies will also have their tails docked (unless prior arrangements have been made before to the birth of the litter). Barnes Bulldogges will give proper verifiable registration papers or transfers of ownership as soon as the papers are processed and available. Deposits, Payments, and Shipping

The remaining balance is due upon delivery unless otherwise written. Puppies are reserved on a first come first served basis and are considered sold when deposit is received.
Barnes Bulldogges transports our own puppies by ground for an agreed upon price. When delivery is beyond reasonable driving distance, Air Transportation (we carrry the puppy with us in the passenger compartment) can be arranged for an agreed upon price. Barnes Bulldogges always intends to transfer our puppies directly from our hands to yours with no middlemen. This is to reduce stress to the puppy and ensure her safety.
Puppies that are shipped are at risk for Coccidia, Kennel Cough, and Girardia that are common when dogs are shipped. Other reasons these illnesses may transpire are by a new home, new food, new people, change of climate and surroundings, and other stress inducing situations. Full recovery is expected and not life threatening. Barnes Bulldogges will not cover the treatment if any of these situations should arise.
Buyer will pick up the puppy by the time it is 8 (eight) weeks old, or the puppy will be shipped by the time it is eight weeks old. If 10 days go by with no attempt to make pick-up arrangements, the buyer will forfeit the puppy, deposits, and payments made on the puppy, unless other arrangements have been made with Barnes Bulldogges.
If the puppy or adult dog is ever to be returned to Barnes Bulldogges for any reason, all shipping charges are the buyer’s responsibility, including forfeiture of the shipping crate.
Health Guarantee
The buyer agrees to take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 72 hours for a health check. Barnes Bulldogges should be informed immediately of the examination by mailing or e-mailing a signed statement outlining the puppy’s health and condition. Should the veterinarian determine the dog to be unfit for purchase due to illness, disease, or congenital disorder, which the cause is clearly attributable to the seller, the buyer may return the puppy within 5 days to the seller at the buyer’s expense with the written diagnosis from the veterinarian. The seller will replace the puppy with another puppy of comparable quality when available from the same litter, if available, or an upcoming litter. However, the specific puppy to be used as a replacement puppy will be chosen by Barnes Bulldogges, not the buyer. Note: The seller reserves the right to return a cash refund instead of replacement should the seller decide that sending another puppy is not the best option. There is no replacement for Parvovirus. No monies will be refunded nor will the seller be held accountable for any veterinarian bills. If a veterinarian does not examine the puppy within 72 hours after receipt, all guarantees listed are not valid.
If the puppy is examined by two licensed veterinarians within the first 24 months of its life and found to have an untreatable genetic or congenital defect causing death or impairment of the vital functions of the puppy, the buyer has the option of returning the puppy for replacement. Barnes Bulldogges will replace the puppy with another puppy of equal at our first opportunity provided the condition below is met and kept by the buyer. Any illnesses, conditions or defects caused by buyer’s neglect, abuse or mishandling are NOT covered by this health guarantee and a replacement puppy will not be given to the buyer. If the puppy is used in any form of illegal activity (i.e. Dog Fighting) or any extreme sports (i.e. weight pulling), or has been bred without documented breeding rights, this guarantee is null and void. Puppies should not be over-fed and become obese, as this will affect the puppy’s development, as well as being over exercised before 18 months of age. An adult formulate food is highly stressed to prevent the puppy from growing too quickly resulting in possible future joint injuries. Walks should be consistent in frequency with gradual build up. Should the owner decide not to follow these instructions, and the problem be deemed environmental, Barnes Bulldogge’s guarantee will become null and void. Under no condition will Barnes Bulldogges give cash refund.
Breeding for health is one of Barnes Bulldogges top priorities; however, we do not cover mange/demodex, entropian, or cherry eye.
Temperament
Barnes Bulldogges acknowledges the puppy/dog to be of sound and stable temperament at the time of purchase as described in the IOEBA standard for Olde English Bulldogges. Should the buyer question the temperament of the puppy/dog, the buyer must notify the seller within 48 hours. After the selling and transfer of ownership of the puppy/dog has been made, training and behavior of the puppy/dog becomes the responsibility of the owner. Barnes Bulldogges is not responsible for any animal or person bitten or hurt by your puppy/dog.
Buyer Agrees…
The buyer agrees to use at all times the kennel name Barnes Bulldogges as the kennel prefix in the registered name as well as said dog’s name in any advertisement of this dog, whether in print, electronic, or photo publication.
If the new owner has never owned a dog before, the buyer will attend at least one Puppy Obedience Class to learn about training and to help socialize the puppy. It is recommended that every puppy participate in at least one Puppy Obedience Class as this helps build a trusting relation between the handler and the dog while giving the dog a well-structured environment to enrich his/her socialization skills with other people and dogs. Most of the better instructors will have some type of credential to show that they actually know how to properly train dogs. There are a number of credentials available for dog trainers from the National Association of Dog Obedience, Association of Pet Dog Trainers, National K-9 Dog Trainers Association, and the International Association of Canine Professionals. Look for an instructor who has a credential from an association that requires rigorous training and education. Your veterinarian may offer suggestions for classes in your area. Check http://www.akc.org/events/training-clubs/ for AKC sponsored training classes. Also companies like Petco and PetSmart typically offer obedience classes. Remember: training should be a fun, positive experience for both you and your dogge.
The buyer agrees to provide the puppy/dog a safe environment. This includes maintaining up to date vaccines, de-wormer, and to keep the puppy/dog in good condition, which includes proper food, fresh water and shelter.
The buyer agrees to periodically send pictures of the puppy/dog for a minimum of 18 months of age so the breeder can further assess the breeding results. The buyer agrees that Barnes Bulldogges may post these pictures on Facebook and/or the Barnes Bulldogge website.
The buyer agrees to keep Barnes Bulldogges informed about any achievements, medical, or behavioral problems experienced throughout its life.
The buyer agrees to feed and maintain receipts of a premium dog food including: No wheat, No corn, No Soy. Should the owner decide not to follow these instructions, Barnes Bulldogges’ guarantee will become null and void. Note: We feed our dogs a grain free food called 4Health and our pregnant females and puppies Blue Life Protection Formula puppy food.
No Barnes Bulldogge Olde English Bulldogge will be left tied outside for extended periods of time. We recommend a dog run or a fenced yard to allow for playtime. Also, we stress when left inside, a wire crate be used for most of the first year of the puppies life, or longer if any any destructive behaviors are present after this time.
Should the buyer, AT ANY TIME, be unable to keep the dog in question, Barnes Bulldogges reserves the first option to take the puppy/dog back along with the registration paper.
The buyer and seller agree that this is a full and complete agreement that exists between parties for the sale of this puppy dog. Any agreements made prior to this are considered incorporated herein and any modification made to this agreement shall be made in writing or such shall not be effective. Barnes Bulldogges reserves the right to terminate this contract and refuse sale to any party who does not put the interest of the puppy/dog first.
