Ice - I love this picture as it captures his amazing structure and his goofy, playful personality.
Ice loves hanging out in our woods and keeps a sharp eye out for those noisy squirrels
Ice is a DNA tested triple carrier (Bb, dd, KbKy, aw-at), he's structurally correct, and has a good pedigree. Triple carrier means he has one chocolate gene, and 2 dilute genes, as well as a tri gene. So with the right females he can throw tri color, chocolates, blues, fawns, brindles and lilacs. With his first litter he sired 3 lilac puppies. He sired 1 lilac and 3 brindles in his third litter, second with Zoey. He is also a Blue Ribbon generational OEB registered with the IOEBA. But mainly he is a good natured nut job who can always bring a smile to my face. He's Mr Enthusiastic who thinks whatever I'm doing is the best thing ever. If I'm digging in the garden, he wants to see what's in the bottom of the hole and wants to help me find it. Maybe he can be a little too helpful sometimes. He did really well in his group puppy training class, which means that I didn't screw him up too badly. He learns quickly, he remembers his signals easily and is very attentive to his handler. He is also a bit of a ladies man so he is really liking his job; we should all be so lucky. Ice stands at about 17" tall. His last trip to the vet for vaccines had him at 66 lbs. His head measures 23". He turned 4 on December 12, 2017. He's sired 46 beautiful puppies as of December 2017. Below is a look at his IOEBA registered pedigree and also some pictures of the dogges in his pedigree. You'll look long and hard before you find another male matching the quality of his pedigree. Our biggest challenge has been to find females worthy of his line - I think we've found some!
